Good evening, I'm studying design at the University of Tenerife and I am currently doing a project about redesigning stadiums, specifically the Maracanã. I am writing because I need to know what the Maracana means to the brazilians.

Which keywords would you use to describe it? Do you think the stadium could be used for other activities as another kind of sports events once it’s deserted?
Please know this is just a theoretical project and I have no intentions of taking this to action for now.
