Tramitar visa mercosur en Brasil para mi madre

Buena Tarde!!! Gracias por crear este espacio, ha sido de gran ayuda. Me gustaría hacer una consulta: soy estudiante bolsista de la CAPES con visa temporaria IV, mi madre que vive en Colombia se vendrá a partir de diciembre a vivir conmigo, ella vive sola en Colombia y tiene 60 años, no quiero dejarla allá por el tiempo que queda de mis estudios, sé que puede esta máximo 2 años si tramitamos la visa mercosur, mi inquietud es, si ella viaja en diciembre, podemos tramitar la visa de ella aqui en Brasil antes de terminar los 3 meses que puede estar como turista?

Si, escribí al consulado en Colombia y me dicen que es la única forma para que ella se quede aqui por dos años por lo menos: "Buenas tardes. Su madre puede solicitar la visa MERCOSUR, que le permite residencia en Brasil por hasta 2 años."

Efectivamente ella podrá solicitar la visa en el consulado do Brasil en Colombia o bien entrar como turista en Brasil y solicitar la residencia temporaria directamente en la Policía Federal en Brasil.

En nuestra opinión deberías informarte de las dos posibilidades para ver cual es la que más os conviene :

1º O bien tu madre solicita la visa en el consulado do Brasil en Colombia

2º O bien tu madre entra como turista en Brasil y solicita la residencia temporaria en la Policía Federal

Cualquiera de las dos opciones es viable, así que si tienes tiempo te recomendamos que también te pases por la Policía Federal para preguntar los requisitos en cuanto a documentación que necesitaría tu madre para hacer el trámite en Brasil.

Como veo en tu perfil que vives en Río, puedes realizar esta consulta en la Policía Federal del aeropuerto Galeão.
