Hola, Buenas tardes, voy a São Paulo con una beca de intercambio de febrero a julio de 2015 y tengo varias dudas. La primera es la fecha de comprar el billete de vuelta para pedir el visado. No se si tiene que ser en el mes de julio que es para el último mes que tengo el visado o lo puedo comprar para más tarde, por si pienso pedir ampliación del visado o tengo pesando viajar algún mes más. Mi segunda duda, una vez que este allí me gustaría quedarme a estudiar en la Universidad a la que voy de intercambio, desconozco si es posible si la Universidad te acepta como alumno, poder residir en Brasil como estudiante perteneciente a esa Universidad. Hola! Debves preguntar en el consulado si al finalizar el periodo del visado puedes quedarte un tiempo adicional como turista. Si esto fuese posible siendo de nacionalidad española podrías permanencer 90 días adicionales. Si por algún motivo quieres comprarlo antes, siempre podrás cambiar la fecha de vuelta del pasaje cuando quieras . Normalmente en las aerolineas cobran unos 100-150 euros por el cambio de fecha. Tambien te informamos que no hay "ampliación de visado" de estudiante. Cuando expire, tendrás que tramitar otro para realizar un nuevo curso. En cuanto a tu segunda duda, no la hemos entendido muy bien.

Hola, disculpa pero es que he leído en los papeles que hay que tener para solicitar el visado esto: Reserva del billete de ida y vuelta (o comprobante de salida hacia terceros países),entonces creía que para que e dieran el visado tenías que tener los billetes comprados. La otra duda, que no me he debido de explicar muy bien, es que a mi me gustaría continuar a estudiar en la Universidad a la que voy de intercambio una vez que este finalice en julio, por ello estoy tratando de concurrir como alumna extranjera, si la universidad me acepta como alumna suya, ¿puedo quedarme en Brasil estudiando? ¿existe algún visado para ello? Es cierto, yo he cometido un error al responderte. Rectifico .... Normalmente la gente compra el billete de ida para dias antes de iniciar el curso y el de vuelta para días despues de finalizar el curso. En el caso de que te quieras quedar más tiempo, consulta al consulado si despues de terminar el periodo del visado te puedes quedar más tiempo como turista. Vives cerca de algún consulado de Brasil? Donde vas a tramitar el visado?

Hola, tengo una duda al respecto, si por ejemplo en mi caso, me voy en Agosto de este año a Porto Alegre y estoy estudiando un curso entero hasta julio del 2016, el billete de vuelta no es necesario presentarlo cuando vaya a hacer el visado en estos meses, cierto? Con el visado de estudiantes puedo permanecer allí hasta la fecha que me indique? Para hacer el visado solo tendría que reservar el de Ida? Gracias de antemano

Hola Crispulin. Para el visado de estudiante es necesario presentar la reserva del billete de ida y vuelta o de salida de Brasil. Es decir, puedes comprar un vuelo de ida y vuelta, o también un billete de ida y un billete de autobús que salga a otro país a través de Internet. Puedes permanecer en Brasil hasta la fecha de vencimiento del visado. También te informo, que la fecha del billete de vuelta puedes cambiarlo cuando quieras en la aerolínea. ¿Cual es tu plan? ¿Porque estás interesado sólo en el billete de ida? Si me explicas un poco más tu idea podría darte algún consejo más específico.

Debe tener el billete de vuelta para la fecha de finalización del visado (que pregunte en el consulado cual es la fecha límite). En el caso de que quiera quedarse más tiempo en Brasil puede hacerlo, pero para adquirir el status de turista tendrá que salir y entrar de Brasil para que le sellen el visado. Puede coger un vuelo de ida y vuelta en el mismo día para un país limítrofe, o ir en bus, o en coche etc. El asunto es que salga de Brasil al finalizar el periodo de estudiante, y vuelva a entrar como turista con lo que podría quedarse 3 meses más. Estando en Porto Alegre lo tiene muy fácil pues Uruguay queda cerca (380 Kms)
